My Comfort Zone:
As Head of Strategy, I give our clients a competitive advantage by gaining a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding their brand, identifying golden opportunities, and then seizing those opportunities with confidence. I seek to illuminate so everyone can dazzle.

How I’m Challenging It:
I ask questions. I listen. I notice. I gather up the goods and share the most interesting bits. I deliver thinking that’s insightful and provocative — yet actually useful. I have zero patience for strategic pretense, waxing philosophical, or strategic sleights-of-hand. At the end of the day, we’re all just people searching for ways to connect with other people. It’s okay to be and sound human.

My Comfort Zone:
Storytelling. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been a storyteller, writing my first short stories in elementary school, moving on to “novels” in junior high and then fully embracing the art of essay writing in high school and college. Nothing can bring people along for the ride better than a truly compelling story.

How I’m Challenging It:
Oftentimes, writing for strategy is seen as its own unique thing, but to me, it all comes down to the basic fundamentals of creative writing: introduction > conflict > climax > resolution. A good story is a good story, and just because one is for reading pleasure and one is for marketing function doesn’t mean they need to be handled any differently.
