Mistress wins a Webby Award for its work on behalf of Discover Los Angeles and the LA Tourism & Convention Board. The 2018 Webby People’s Voice Award in Advertising, Media, & PR, in the Real-Time Response category, commends the agency’s “L.A. Welcomes Everyone” activation, an advertising campaign that used real-time information to create relevant messaging and react to current events in a brand-centric way.
Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards is one of the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. Established in 1996, the Webby Awards received more than 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide this year. Three million votes were cast from Internet fans in more than 240 countries around the world to choose the winners of the 2018 Webby People’s Voice Awards.
With this Webby win, Mistress has filled its full suite of major international advertising awards, including the ANDYs, Clios, One Show, Cannes Lions, Shortys, D&AD, LIA, PromaxDBA North American Agency of the Year, and Ad Age Small Agency of the Year.
