With Hollywood’s biggest night of the year on the horizon, Mistress and QDOBA teamed up to shed some light on the their own ‘Best Picture’ nominees of the night – some of the brand’s best flavor offerings.

Inspired by some of the amazing films up for nomination, Mistress recreated the sharp key art with a Qdoba twist… ‘Call Me By Your Name’ could only ring sweeter as ‘Call Me By Your Nacho’, and the ‘Lady Bird’ art could only feel stronger if Saoirse Ronan’s character was replaced with QDOBA’s Fire-Roasted Shrimp.

Tapping into culturally relevant moments is at the heart of what Mistress as an agency knows is successful in the social space, so moving swiftly on these types of opportunities is key. By creating striking key art and a CTA to encourage fans to engage, our Oscars post for QDOBA drove high engagement across all channels with fans joining in the conversation and even adding their stylized movie renditions such as “50 Shades of Queso.”

That’s all for now, but we’ll call it a ‘Phantom’ win!
