At this year’s Social Media Week Los Angeles, The Many hosted a panel discussing how marketers can identify the right amount of risk-taking in a socially connected world. Moderated by our Director of Social Strategy, Kristin “KB” Busk, the panel includes Maycie Timpone, Executive Director, Video and Social Media at Buzzfeed, Kim Vo, Senior Manager of Brand Content Strategy at Walmart, and Grant Knapp, Director of Creative Strategy at QDOBA, who share their perspectives on taking risk in 2019.

But with the power to instantly align or alienate consumers with the click of a button, the question becomes, how much risk should brands actually take?

How much risk is too much? Can risk translate into a competitive edge? How can marketers go head-to-head with their rivals?
